1. What are consolidator tickets?
Consolidator tickets are discounted airfares that are sold by most major airlines to help fill seats. These tickets are usually below the lowest published fare available directly from an airline. FlightMall.com only does business with consolidators that have contracts directly with airlines. TOP > |
2. What is the total cost of airfares?
When purchasing consolidator tickets, always get the total cost. Some companies have many "hidden" charges such as paying by credit card, etc.. FlightMall.com's charges added are as follows: regulatory taxes--$35-$120 round trip, depending on destination and airports traveled through, and a ticketing fee (depending on the kind of ticket issued). There are no additional charges when paying by credit card. TOP > |

If the ticket you wish to purchase is restricted, you are entering into a binding contract. Other flights may cost more, but they will allow you more freedom and flexibility if you need to change your travel plans. It is important to consider all consequences before you purchase a cheaper ticket with restrictions. TOP > |
6. Why can't I find available flights online?
There are several reasons: The flights may be sold out. The schedule may require more than one airline to connect and booking engine may not recognize this. The flight schedule may require more than 2-3 segments each way and booking engine cannot process. TOP > |
7. Why does the airline carriers name not appear on the flight schedule?
Due to contractual agreements between the consolidator and certain airline carriers, we are not allowed to publish specific airlines names with the flight schedule before you reach the final booking page. TOP > |
8. What is an E-ticket?
An E-ticket (or "electronic ticket") is a paper-less ticket. Instead of receiving a physical ticket, a confirmation number is sent to be used at the airport check-in with your photo ID (such as a driver's license) to receive your boarding pass. In some cases, the airlines may ask you to present the creditcard that you used to book your flight.
Using an E-ticket is very simple and completely secure. Most airlines offer E-tickets, especially for U.S.domestic travel. Overseas with customs and immigration limits the use of E-tickets internationally. Many international airlines are starting to offer E-ticketing on select routes. E-tickets have many benefits. You CAN'T LOSE an E-ticket since your ticket is your confirmation number and photo identification. And in the event that you forget the confirmation number, the flight number will do the job.
TIP: Some carriers require travelers to present the credit card they used to purchase the ticket online. If you are thinking about purchasing a ticket for a friend or relative who does not have access to your credit card, please call and check with the airline about their specific requirements. TOP > |
9. If I purchase an E-ticket, what do I get as proof of that purchase?
Customers buying Etickets will be sent a confirmation number via e-mail. Travelers can present that number at the time of airport check-in along with appropriate identification. TOP > |

Beginning with the first scheduled day of travel, your tickets are completely non-refundable. Some airlines allow schedule changes, which are again associated with fees.
